A2 grade flame retardant aluminum-plastic panel is a grade non-combustible building material certified according to the EU EN 13501-1 standard. Its combustion performance meets the A2-s1,d0 classification requirements (non-combustibility, smokeless, and droplet-free), and is the core material for high-end building fire safety.
Aluminum-plastic composite panel is a building decoration material made of multiple layers of materials through high temperature and high pressure. It has the characteristics of metal and plastic and is widely used in building curtain walls, interior decoration, advertising signs and other fields. When burning, the smoke density level is ≤15, no toxic gas is released, the smoke toxicity is reduced by 80%, there is no asbestos, no halogen, the product recyclability rate is ≥90%, and it is green and environmentally friendly.

A2-grade flame-retardant aluminum-plastic panel is an aluminum-plastic composite panel with a higher fireproof grade. Its core layer adopts a special flame-retardant formula, which complies with the A2-grade standard (non-combustible material, stricter than B1-grade) of GB 8624-2012 "Classification of Combustion Performance of Building Materials and Products", and is suitable for places with extremely strict fire protection requirements. The following are its core features:

1. Top fireproof performance (A2-grade)

Non-combustible/extremely difficult to burn: The core layer adopts an inorganic flame retardant system (such as aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, etc.), which forms an inert carbonization layer at high temperature to prevent the spread of flames.

Low heat release: The heat release during combustion is extremely low, and the smoke density is low (in compliance with GB/T 8626 test standards), avoiding the risk of "flashover".

No molten droplets: No molten droplets are produced at high temperatures, eliminating secondary ignition.

2. High safety & environmental protection
Halogen-free formula: The mainstream A2 grade board adopts halogen-free flame retardant, and there is no toxic hydrogen halide gas (such as HBr, HCl) when burning, which meets the GB/T 20285 smoke and toxicity standard.

Green certification: Some products have passed the CCC certification of fire protection products or international environmental protection standards (such as EU EN 13501-1 Class A2).

3. Strong structural stability
Resistant to high temperature deformation: After the aluminum layer (usually 0.2~0.5mm thick) is compounded with the flame-retardant core material, it can still maintain its shape at high temperatures (such as short-term exposure at 800℃), and it is not easy to bend or delaminate.

4. Durability and weather resistance
Outdoor application: The surface fluorocarbon coating (PVDF) is resistant to ultraviolet rays, acid rain and salt spray, and the service life can reach more than 20 years.

Temperature adaptability: Stable performance under -50℃~120℃ environment, suitable for extreme climate areas.

5. Lightweight & easy to construct
Lightweight: density is about 1.5~2.0g/cm³, which is much lower than stone or metal curtain walls, reducing building load.

Easy to process: can be cut, bent, punched, and supports multiple installation methods such as dry hanging and gluing.
